Where will we start the tour?

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in Santa Teresa! Our team will be waiting for you at your hotel at the agreed time or at the Civic Plaza of Santa Teresa. From there, we’ll head by car to the picturesque village of Yanatile, a journey of approximately 40 minutes.

Visit to the Coffee Farms

We’ll arrive at the charming village of Yanatile, located at 2,000 meters above sea level, where coffee grows under ideal conditions. Its inhabitants are dedicated to cultivating specialty coffee, with varieties such as Geisha, Bourbon, and Typica. Along the way, coffee plants dominate the landscape until we reach a local farm.

There we’ll tour the plantations to learn about the different varieties and the organic practices they use to improve their coffee quality year after year. They’ll explain the innovations they implement to achieve higher cup scores, as well as the challenges they face as producers.

If it's harvest season, we’ll be able to taste fresh coffee cherries and observe the fermentation and drying processes up close. To finish the experience, we’ll do a traditional roasting and taste our own freshly brewed coffee.

Cupping Laboratory

Upon returning, we’ll continue the experience at the Wild Coffee Peru laboratory, where our experts will guide us in a more controlled environment to dive deeper into the fascinating world of specialty coffee. We’ll learn how beans are selected and classified, and we’ll roast them using more advanced equipment.

Then, we’ll prepare a cupping table with different varieties and coffee profiles, allowing us to understand the differences between each one. It will be a hands-on introduction to coffee cupping, guided by our professionals—ideal for discovering the nuances, aromas, and flavors that make specialty coffee unique.

Pure Adrenaline Descent (optional)

But the adventure doesn’t end here! After our exciting coffee tour, we’ll get ready for a thrilling bike ride. You’ll receive all the necessary safety gear and a quality bicycle. Our ride will follow a low-traffic road, mostly downhill, where we’ll feel the breeze on our faces and the thrill of speed until we arrive back at the starting point in Santa Teresa.
